Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Hello all, I wanted to get an update out before we left for our Thanksgiving vacation this weekend. We're looking forward to escaping the cold weather and spending time with family down south! Our homestudy has been updated for Korea and is in the hands of our agency right now. After speaking with them late last week, I anticipate that it will be on it's way to Korea this week!! :) Brandon and I are very excited and even more thrilled by the ease of the Korea process in comparison to Vietnam and Russia! It's been virtually seemless, which we are so thankful for. Now the waiting game begins again. The average wait time for a baby is approx 3-6 months before a referral and then an additional 3-4 months until we either travel or have him, her or them escorted home :) As soon as we hear any info, we'll be sure to let you know.

On a very exciting note...We have met some wonderful people through International Adoption and FTIA. One of the families we have grown close to brought home their 8 year old son, Sawyer from China on Friday. It was absolutely AMAZING and indescribable the emotion you feel watching this family grow. There were several other families there who have also adopted from China with their kiddos to welcome Sawyer, Becki and Mike home to Indy. I forgot to bring my camera but did take some pictures with my phone to share with you (above in the slideshow). I hope you enjoy! :)

Brandon and I wish you all a VERY HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!! We are so blessed and thankful for each of you in our lives! We love you all very much! xoxo
